- 1: It's harder for me to think of examples of great characterization but poor plot. Moby Dick? I guess that one does have plot. Just full of digressions. But that one's not about the characters, either, really. I think it's more about the language.
- 2: Yeah, Moby Dick is about a love affair with the English language.
